Ministry Highlights From Month One!

By Rev. Leonard Buelow In News

Ministry Highlights From Month One!

Here is a quick update with highlights of some activities, milestones, and metrics over the past month!

Amazing Grace Lutheran Church in Green Bay, WI officially organized as a congregation on Sunday morning, October 20, 2013. At that meeting, a Divine Call was formally extended to Pastor Leonard Buelow, which he accepted. The full content of the business decided at that first meeting is available at the end of this news release!

At that time, we also began our web outreach and evangelism, launching our online home at www.AreYouAmazedGreenBay.com with a focus on reaching those who Jesus came to save, which, interestingly… is EVERYONE 🙂

Following are a few statistics to report from our efforts over the past month, which were recorded at midnight last night:

We have had 599 visits from beautiful and amazing people in 14 states here in the U.S., in addition to multiple visits from the countries of Germany and Russia. We have also received some terrific feedback regarding our daily devotional series, weekly sermons, and our Facebook page. If you haven’t yet had the opportunity to stop by and Like the FB page, we’d be thrilled and honored if you’d take a moment to do so now.

During the month, new communion ware was donated and dedicated, and we celebrated the Lord’s Supper together on several occasions. We were also blessed with a new physical location for our worship services. After meeting in a home-setting the first few weeks, we moved into a beautiful space at 2450 Velp Avenue in the Glendale Crossing Retail Center in Howard. If you are within driving distance of the Green Bay metro area, we invite you to join us for worship. Come, hear the good news of salvation and connect with new friends.

If you are at a distance or anywhere in the world with a mobile or Internet connection, please know that we welcome you to join us for our daily devotions and weekly sermon podcasts, and we are available to answer questions or pray for you wherever necessary — just click the Contact link! We also encourage you to find a local church home that teaches God’s Word in its truth and purity where you can receive the Sacraments and connect with fellow believers.

Thank you for all of your kind words and thoughts, and for supporting us with your prayers and giving as we share the good news and amazing grace of our Lord with a hurting world. There is much work to be done, but together — and with God’s blessing — we move forward in unity and love.

— Your friends at Amazing Grace Lutheran Church
